Thanksgiving Turkey - It's All Gobbledy Good

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful - thankful for a loving family, thankful for a warm bed to sleep in, and thankful for an allowance to buy a new skateboard or those cool Converse basketball shoes with! Well, the Thanksgiving Turkey is just as thankful as we are about his totally cool job and all the awesome perks that come with it!

Thanksgiving Turkey - What He's Thankful For

This turkey used to live with a bunch of other turkeys on a farm, but it was actually more like a jail. But many years ago, he got pardoned (set free) by the President of the United States and was sent to a petting zoo in Virginia. In 2005, he got to move to Disneyland in sunny California and now takes part in Disneyland's annual Thanksgiving Day parade!

Thanksgiving Turkey - What He's Not So Thankful For

The Thanksgiving turkey isn't the prettiest bird on the block. With a piece of flabby skin hanging from his chin and another piece growing across his beak, he could never win first prize in a beauty pageant! He also suffers from bumpy skin that even a strong moisturizer can't cure.

Thanksgiving Turkey - How Much $$$ Does the Turkey Make?

The Thanksgiving Turkey doesn't get paid - but that's his choice. He told his bosses to donate his paychecks to charities like food banks, shelters and clothing drives instead! Besides, who needs money when you're already living at the happiest place on earth?
