The democrats on the other hand have done nothing but drive our deficit through the roof, try and introduce socialist healthcare and in general destroy our country. I don't know how we are going to survive another term of Obama.
The only thing I got from this was that you're gullible.
Brainwashed?---says Dykwia while looking in the mirror. Republicans aren't happy unless they are stripping rights away from americans. The republican candidates are a joke. I'm going to laugh so hard as they fall one by one. The tea party is nothing but a bunch of inbreds who escaped when the gate got left open. Round those idiots up and put them back in the cage where they belong.
Bush was and still is a liar. The wars were and still are a joke.

Heck, do you realize the dems want to make gay marriage and gay adoption legal? I don't want any more states legalizing these.
Bush was and still is a liar. The wars were and still are a joke. That's easy to say in hindsight. The fact is that the middle-east is a much better place because of us. Last edited by DYKWIA; 19 Minutes Ago at 03:06.

America's doing a terrible job of stabilising the region! Unlike many, I like to see the good in the Iraq/Afghanistan wars, but they aren't any more stable than they were (more free definitely, but not stable).America didn't take that much of a role in the Libya conflict. It was primarily led by Britain and France, who had to keep requesting that America did more (though granted, this is our region not yours so I don't think it was particularly unreasonable for America to step back as the rest of the NATO forces picked up the slack). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's done anything special for Egypt recently (I know it financially supported their previous dictator though).
It did nothing to help the oppression in Bahrain, presumably because of their military presence there.
Then of course there is the huge support for Israel which - even if we say it's only self defence - is destabilising the entire area.
So all in all, if this is "doing a good job", I dread to see what a failed US foreign policy would look like.

Pretty funny how you show disgust at the attempt to give gay people more rights at the end of a little rant about how awful it is they are trying to take away your liberties! It's not a fact at all. It's a fact that there has been improvements - but to say the whole region is better off is ridiculous.

I don't mean to sound offensive but from everything you've written you're coming across as a very very very stereotypical and brainwashed American...I suggest you follow your advice and "check the facts"
