British Asian and nightlife

I ahve noticed this in Birmingham, where I live, cos u said a how it really isnt alchol culture in British Asian background. the Muslims in general do not drink and also he thought people do Hindus and Sikhs nowhere close to the level of the white background is. but there are "Asian" nights quite regularly where, if u will be the Club less alcohol drunk and u find more like-minded people. I'm white, but I'm a totally different atmosphere in these nights that much cos of my group is usually Brown and it is too common and more great stuff it could be safely in London it is similar to

There is a larger proportion of white people, because guess what? This is England! Country with a majority white. How not to notice that and how is the presence of other colors racist? I am mixed race, and I have never experienced racism on me in London. The vast majority of people in this country not are out to get you. Grow up and stop pull the race card.
I think your being rough and you know that I could go in a major debate about this. But of course, girls will be less affected. You know that.
Why are some British Obssessed the Palestinians?

And yet, a significant number of Britons are practically obsessed with the Palestinians - making chart songs for them (as seen in the other thread), holding demonstrations, making sure everyone knows that they support them, etc.
This is definitely disproportionate. It would be okay if these same people did the same for other people suffering human rights abuses.
So why? Is it politically motivated? Supporting the Palestinians definitely seems to be an ideology of the left. Is it because the antagonist country is USA-backed Israel? Would they care as much if it was Nigeria, Syria or Iran for example?

I could go on.

Anyway OP asked why Britons care about Israel. Most Britons are not Muslims.

Its an odd case as well. Israel and Palestine is hardly a case thats been seen in many other places. But I think Israel is heavily overrepresented on TSR

Yes, but almost without exception it is difficult to find a Muslim that doesn't care extremely strongly about the Palestine situation. Young, old, male, female, rich, poor... it doesn't matter, they are completely incapable of unbiased thinking. When you ask them how they feel about the far worse plight of the West Africans they look at you like you're from another planet. It is pretty obvious people will care about people they see as their own, it just annoys me when they present themselves as humantarians because they couldn't give a crap when their people are the oppressors (which is the majority of the time). The other type of person that care about this issue (and almost solely about this issue) are usually lefty students, and their leaders like George Galloway. They don't care about oppression, they care about who they perceive is carrying it out.

I really don't understand the fixation among students. I mean its only since I came to TSR that I've seen it quite to this level.

Indeed it is an odd situation... When in history have you ever heard about a group of people being fought off of a piece of land as a weaker force expecting to get that land back through guilt tripping? It is amazing to me that they didn't just surrender way back in the 60s or 70s. Imagine Germany refused to redraw its boundaries after WWII, we would have had to keep our foot on their heads until they relented.
