...worth anything?

Long story, but I was going to do Beauty Therapy Level 2 but with it being FE not HE i couldn't afford to rent my house etc and hold down a job and study so I chose to study Design, I was fairly interested in the subject but it wasn't my passion unlike Beauty...

...but with it being HE I get full grant and payments etc so I could comfortably study.

I still feel Beauty Therapy is my passion, my hobby, my interest.

I'm only a month into the Design course and I'm worried that if I quit I will have to repay the grants. So I'm considering pushing it out to the end of the first year...

If I chose to not go back for 2nd year would I still have to repay the grants?
Also, is there any formal qualification that I would achieve for completing the first year such as a Level 4?

I think I'm best following it through this year and seeing if i grow passionate about this course but just wondered if there would be any real gain following it through to the end of year One as opposed to quitting now.

Thanks.

Is it easier to get a first in law at lse or cambridge ??

It would be extremely difficult/impossible to answer these kind of questions.

LSE & Cambridge are both world renowned institutions so I doubt if the Law course will be easy at any of those.

If you're hoping/looking to easily achieve a first then I'd advice you not to apply to both

I had never had any kind of piercing done before so i thought it was time to get one done. i always wanted to get me belly button pierced so i went and got it done. i went on march 30, 2009, my 18th birthday, to get it done. i was terrified because i thought it was gonna hurt but the guy that pierced my belly button was really nice. he kept telling me that it wouldnt hurt that much and he was right.

It didnt hurt when he pierced it but it did hurt when he put the ring through the hole. after he pierced it he let me know how to take care of my piercing. he gave me a list with things i needed to do to keep it clean. my belly button never got infected because of the list that i was given with instructions of how to care for my piercing.

It took about three months for my belly button to completely heal but after a month i had already changed my ring. i was so excited that i had my belly button pierced that i was showing it to everybody i knew and after awhile all my friends told me to stop showig it cuz they had already seen it. since i was one of the only girls from my friends that had her belly button pierced, i went some of my friends when they got their belly button pierced and now im gonna take my younger sister when she turns 18.

I took my friends to the same place that i went to get my piercing done because all the guys that i saw there were really nice and supporting when they were doing the piercing. i love having my belly button pierced so much that i have been a belly dancer for halloween the past couple of years just so i can show it off. im so glad my first piercing turned out to be so great.

How was our first day of the sixth? : D

How was our first day of the sixth? : D

Today was okay - pretty boring.

We had to go around the school, which collect four signatures, our chosen topics of the teachers... Initially I wanted history, English lit, biology and psychology to do but obviously since I a b Foundation (3 x 55/55 + A in coursework) I can do it not because it is difficult:-(

So I chose history, circulatory system and sociology, a good match the English lit, apparently

Most of the day has only been waiting for, into the common area to ridicule but throw.

How to sell was?

Terrified at the thought of being in a relationship for the first time - what to do

Terrified at the thought of being in a relationship for the first time - what to do

O.k. here's the story...

I have for years being single groaned and non-active, a friend to get something done. My friends all have partners saw and felt down. This was in phases.

At work, a friend mentioned how he is dating and I made a joke, that he met her online, but then I wanted to try thought, online-dating (because it hit my culture good luck to even someone would require, let alone interests and individual etc....). I get them all on relevant sites.

So I signed up, had a look around and got chatting to a girl (who inspired and meet me, etc.). Now I have dreamed of getting this type of situation. But now, I have no enthusiasm in connect and feel terrified dating / get in a relationship for the first time. I can say with certainty that it frightens me and I'm not ready. But I'm 25 and never really close to dating, so that would explain the. But at 25, I need to have some experience in this area.

I definitely need time and space to conclusions to come.

The feeling that I was once a relationship has been completely inverted.

BUT all this raises some questions:

1) How can I be ready for a relationship? It is good that I even a, but not now wanted. Honestly, I conceded that I am not prepared, is good. What can I do? Talk about my feelings is something I like to do but always missing a permanently with channel/friend (bad luck it etc.) to do.

(2) How you settle guys in relations for the first time?

My mistake is that I thought to myself, "this single Lark is boring and depressing, let me try these sites and turn things around and get one relationship [with someone at least similar and this girl not drink, that is all we have together] and all are in the world." Well, I had my chance on a plate and turned it down and I do not regret, but life is not as simple as complaining about something that you always wanted to get and to be then happy.

Of course, a relationship is a great obligation and if I get one, I have 100% is what I want. Unfortunately, I am working hard with my career skills develop and do tests, learn, practice, etc.. A GF which will damage (unless, I met some girls, which is very career-minded as I do, I would need to, to get a relationship, as I piss would be another girl from lol). I can really only one or others have.

When I was logged in, on this website I in person as crazy and even exchanged numbers within hours chatting to some people in the chat. I should calm down my time with the idea and enjoy the company of others. As I don't, my current feelings arise.

In the first year and are to think of medicine!

In the first year and are to think of medicine!

I've just finished first year medicine... but in the not entirely happy with it. I've been this debate for months and look at changing courses at the mathematical sciences. I love what we study, to learn his hard work and his fascinating but I think only my heart is no longer in it. I not only have that drive and passion for medicine, which had to and works as a doctor. I compare myself with my fellow students. Medicine is anything that you want. Talk about everything. They have so much drive and motivation. You love it. Me on the other hand, I like what I study, but I love it. I have not only that "Drive", which have the others. I've changed so much in the last two years, and now I've realized medicine may not be for me. The only thought of the years after years of training and work for something I just plain like expenditure. To get through medicine and to be a doctor, you have to love it.

However, a big step to say you are going to fall. I worked so hard to get into med school, I feel as in the this oppurtunity to waste. In the guarantees also not that mathematics is the right way to go.

You say if I med those five years school completed what I at with medicine could do? What other options are open to me, or is it right for me now out? At the end of the day, I think I will go into mathematics, I think I need a few words of encouragement that this is right for me to do.
