Canadian flag jewelry: a brief history for Canada Day
Many people in the United States may not know that today, July 1, Canada's day. Canada Day is kind of like Canada's birthday. It is a celebration marking the anniversary of the day is back in 1867 as three then separate British colonies (province of Canada, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia) by the Constitution Act, which combines to form Canada now days were present.
Today, Canada consists of 13 provinces and territories: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Iceland, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. North Canada reached in the Arctic Circle, many of the northern areas are populated very easily, while the areas further South have far more residents near the US border.
Canada is clearly as a country in several other ways, and it would surprise here that the "traditional" Canadian Maple Leaf flag was actually even the country until 1965 was not adopted many of us to know, in the United States. In addition, has any Canadian provinces own flag and some of them with elements of the original Royal Union flag, which remains an official flag of Canada.
In the United States Canada is full national pride and maple leaves, military insignia, combing, and of course the flag itself, are often seen on mugs, clothing and many different elements of accessories and jewelry.
So today we send a tribute to our friendly neighbors to the North and a super birthday promises rather than participate in what we say, "happy Canada Day!"
