Abusive relationship, can't get past it. Advice? I'm 21, been with my bf for 4 years. 3 of which we've been emotionally abusive to each other, and he's been physically abusive to me. He's tried to strangle me, bashed my head into walls, etc. It's not nice. But I just can't get away. He's not like that all the time and he doesn't just go for me out of the blue, I've usually said something or been in a temper, or tried to walk off first. When he's nice he's really nice, we think on the same wavelength and I just don't notice other men at all, and haven't for the entire relationship, even though I get my share of interest.
I have tried to ditch him, but when he knows I'm in one of 'those moods' he won't meet me, and if I text him to say it's over he ignores the text. Eventually I go back on what I said and get a reply like 'what a surprise'. I don't know why I keep going back on it!
Part of me wants to never see him again, part of me wants to see him right now. I just don't know what to do. A select few of my friends know about this but they can't empathise, all they can say is that I need to find the strength to break away. I doubt anyone can give any better advice, but anyone with a similar experience might be able to help.

He's not like that all the time and he doesn't just go for me out of the blue, I've usually said something or been in a temper, or tried to walk off first. That's no justification for bashing your head into walls or strangling you.. Stop blaming yourself. When he's nice he's really nice, we think on the same wavelength and I just don't notice other men at all, and haven't for the entire relationship, even though I get my share of interest.Typical abusive cycle of behaviour.. Anyone who can be violent to you is not nice, end of, stop excusing his behaviour. I have tried to ditch him, but when he knows I'm in one of 'those moods' he won't meet me, and if I text him to say it's over he ignores the text. Eventually I go back on what I said and get a reply like 'what a surprise'. I don't know why I keep going back on it!He doesn't respect you, and you know that already.. Next time you text him to say it's over, delete his number and all other methods you have to contact him. It'll make it easier. Part of me wants to never see him again, part of me wants to see him right now. I just don't know what to do.You do know what you need to do, hence why you keep trying to break up with him. You know you need to break up with him and stay away from him. PM me if you want to about this, it's not the best thing to talk about in detail on a public forum.
Relationship with family friend?
Me and him used to be friends. When we were 11 we shared our first kiss together and for about 2 years after we were very close. But then he with one began pretty rough group of friends and we drifted apart. He was still a lot, and my brother had it always been as close as they, but our relationship apart a bit, drove until we were 17...
AS ALSO ALWAYS. Just lately he received again, mature much with me more and more friendly on obvious. He took me to the cinema and for drinks (flirt a little, but nothing serious). He asked me to meet the other night, and we it languages only for a few hours. He has now called for, get drinks again on Friday and SMS one me lot. I have a feeling that he is trying to start a relationship.
Is it a good idea? What's with him is SO to close with my family? Would we leave in the future, I will not it between our families or something awkward. Should I go with this? (I rather him like).
It would be great if someone else has to hear a similar experience?
(Sorry for hikes)
Terrified at the thought of being in a relationship for the first time - what to do
I have for years being single groaned and non-active, a friend to get something done. My friends all have partners saw and felt down. This was in phases.
At work, a friend mentioned how he is dating and I made a joke, that he met her online, but then I wanted to try thought, online-dating (because it hit my culture good luck to even someone would require, let alone interests and individual etc....). I get them all on relevant sites.
So I signed up, had a look around and got chatting to a girl (who inspired and meet me, etc.). Now I have dreamed of getting this type of situation. But now, I have no enthusiasm in connect and feel terrified dating / get in a relationship for the first time. I can say with certainty that it frightens me and I'm not ready. But I'm 25 and never really close to dating, so that would explain the. But at 25, I need to have some experience in this area.
I definitely need time and space to conclusions to come.
The feeling that I was once a relationship has been completely inverted.
BUT all this raises some questions:
1) How can I be ready for a relationship? It is good that I even a, but not now wanted. Honestly, I conceded that I am not prepared, is good. What can I do? Talk about my feelings is something I like to do but always missing a permanently with channel/friend (bad luck it etc.) to do.
(2) How you settle guys in relations for the first time?
My mistake is that I thought to myself, "this single Lark is boring and depressing, let me try these sites and turn things around and get one relationship [with someone at least similar and this girl not drink, that is all we have together] and all are in the world." Well, I had my chance on a plate and turned it down and I do not regret, but life is not as simple as complaining about something that you always wanted to get and to be then happy.
Of course, a relationship is a great obligation and if I get one, I have 100% is what I want. Unfortunately, I am working hard with my career skills develop and do tests, learn, practice, etc.. A GF which will damage (unless, I met some girls, which is very career-minded as I do, I would need to, to get a relationship, as I piss would be another girl from lol). I can really only one or others have.
When I was logged in, on this website I in person as crazy and even exchanged numbers within hours chatting to some people in the chat. I should calm down my time with the idea and enjoy the company of others. As I don't, my current feelings arise.

As what were as your friends/ex girlfriends? And how it compared to do it with someone of the same sex were actually sexually attracted you?

The identification of homosexuals tend not romantic and sexual connections with the opposite sex.
I my Musings go always in the same thread as you book, but then not seem always to much better like you when I could articulate.Yes I have dated many of the sex, and it was unsatisfactory and boring alike. You were great people like, just not directly.

It happens though, and not infrequently - sexuality persistently defies classification and people properly often date while still 'closeted', whether they, that they are gay know or not.Sex / don't you kiss with persons of the opposite sex, if you are attracted to them see what you actually do: namely spraying body fluids each other via different openings. Rather disgusting, really.
