I'm in a flat of 8 - 4 guys, 4 girls. The guys are really nice, friendly and jokey, but the other girls.... Aaaargh. One of them is the definition of phantom. She just seems to not exist. I've tried talking to her but she appears almost scared of me... I'm trying to be nice, I'm an EU student so I understand she feels lonely (she's from Saudi I think?)
The other two are the representation of what I was most scared of when I came to uni here - I thought I might end up with shallow, vacant, malicious, plastic, gossipy orange girls who have no interests beyond sunbeds and The Only Way is Essex. And it's happened.
They have obviously become "BFFFLs!!!" immediately. That's fine, I admit I don't have much in common with them. But then they purposely try to exclude everyone else in the flat from what they're doing. This evening is the perfect example - one of the guys was gonna cook for all of us, cause he's an amazing cook, and had also invited some friends round. He goes up to ask them if they wanna join and they're like "Oh no you can't have the kitchen!! We're having a Mexican night, we need it!" and turns out they invited some of their friends over without telling us and just expected the rest of us to clear out. So, we did the whole thing a bit earlier, rushed it a little, and cleared out. We come back later and the place is a tip - bits of food on the floor, kitchen roll all over the place, cutlery with gobs of food just lying around.
And it's not just this evening - they never ask us to join them for anything, they never offer to take part in a flat meal even though on the first day we decided we'd have at least one or two a week, they hardly talk to me or the other girl, preferring to leave passive-aggressive notes about whose turn it is to take out the rubbish or buy the loo roll or whatnot. I know the guys are great, but I'm living right between these two bimbos and I'm just sick of them, how am I meant to live with them for the rest of the year??

If they do, then.. in a mean way.. exclude them. They will either soon get the point and change or eventually be left out. It's harsh but still.

Five against two, just assert your dominance before you get to the point where any action from you guys will lead to confrontation, get it into their heads early on that people wont cater to their every whim in the real world outside of daddies empire.

It was difficult but I just got on with it. They even did stuff like go in my room when I wasn't there and I'd come back and they'd rush out giggling. ****ing *****.
Just the luck of the draw I'm afraid.

You're not the bitch in the situation for making sure they don't treat your flat like a tip, I'd be annoyed if I had people like that in my flat. Although I've got two girls who live next door, Essex style type girls who come over and leave their rubbish, glasses and alcohol over so I can sympathise.
