Hey, I'm paper really a question for my stats plug. Help would be appreciated, I've tried using the book and I am lost.
The question is as follows:
A car tire manufacturer would like to provide a guarantee on th Emile package their product life. Based on tests, they believe that the life of the type a normal distribution with follows an average of 20000 miles and a standard deviation of 2000 km.
What is the probability that takes a tire for at least 18000 miles?
Must guaranteed life be the probability of a tire life is less than the guaranteed life achieving 10%?
