Prove he is wrong.Show me evidence to suggest, other than this/next year, applications to university will rise (and rise in proportion to the costs, not rise because of external factors)

I dont understand what you're talking about in this thread. The 9k fees are in England. You say you are Irish, if youre a citizen of the Republic Ireland and go to a university there, it is either free or relative low fees(im not sure).If you are living in Northern Ireland, and you go a university in NI, you pay roughly £3500 per year.
How do the £9000 fees affect you? You must be choosing to study in England?

so is every course 9k ? or is that just the maximum amount ? fees in ireland are going up too everywhere is .. we are just lucky it isnt like the US
Do you live in Northern Ireland or the Republic?Couldnt you get an equivalent qualification for free in from a university Ireland?
