Nothing is ever what it seems and people are never exactly what they say they are like. By any chance, was this one of those free dating websites? Or was it a paid model?

Best thing I think would be to do is:

1. Be honest with her and just say that you'd like to be friends (you can then choose if you want to slowly phase her out and unfriend her a little later on)

2. Tell her that you've met someone else and wish her the best of luck.

3. Choose advice from the posts which I am sure is to follow below

All I'd say, do it slowly and gently - sometimes things don't work out and people are not what they seem.

One thing I would ask though, have you actually met her? it seems you haven't actually met her in person? I wouldn't be too quick to judge on someone's online profile and what pictures they have picked up - it might be worth giving the girl a chance in person - you might even be pleasantly surprised...
