Ever wonder, what they call a piercing through the top of or on the outer edge of the ear? It is not certain what a conch piercing? This section of the glossary will help you figure out what to say, that to piercing professional pierced.

Anti-Tragus piercing: the Tragus is this small flap on the front of the ear. An anti-tragus piercing is pierced through the area, directly on the earlobes, and directly opposite the Tragus.

Cartilage piercing: a piercing through the cartilage of the ear other than through the lobes.

Shell (shell): the shell or shell puncture is done within the 'shell', the ear through the cartilage

Daith piercing-piercing: a piercing through the cartilage portion of the ear that protrudes from the inner conch shell out

(RIM) Helix piercing: a piercing through the folded edge of the skin and cartilage along the outside of the ear

piercing bridge (Earl): a piercing through the skin over the bridge of the nose, or between the eyebrows

Forehead piercing: a piercing through the eyebrows along its length, usually vertically on the forehead placed anywhere

Medusa: a piercing through the skin of the upper lip just below the septum

Monroe (Madonna, Crawford): a piercing placed directly above the upper lip, also known as Beauty-Mark-piercing

Nasallang: the nasal version of an industrial piercing. Usually it through a nostril enters, goes through the septum and stopped by the other nostril and aims to keep a piece of jewelry

Nostril: a piercing through the side of the nostril

Septum: through the septum - the cartilage between the two nostrils placed above the Centre of the upper lip is a septum piercing

Tongue piercing: placed a piercing through the tongue, usually on the front and center of the tongue

Tongue piercing rim: placed a piercing through the tongue along the edge of the tongue
