25 October 1945 was a day that will forever go down in history. It was the famous day, which the United Nations approved its ' official Charter with signatures from countries of all over the world. A few decades later, in 1971, the General Assembly declared 24 October United Nations on the anniversary of its foundation day. This international holiday is the great achievements of the United Nations to honour and think about dedicated a day about his achievements.

This year day of the United Nations Millennium Development focuses on 8 UN goals. Elimination of extreme poverty and hunger, promoting equality and combating diseases include achieving universal primary education, improving the health of mothers, ensure environmental sustainability, reducing child mortality of. The General Assembly has a global action plan to conquer these goals until 2015!
