Right click on your chosen hard drive.

Go to "Properties"

Click Disk Cleanup.

Some tempoary files should delete this, which include pretty much space in your HDD. Depending on how long you have used your computer you can save anywhere up to 10 GB or even more between 4 GB.

Disk Cleanup is already used. But thanks for the link, I took a look and see, whether anything will help Old 5 minutes ago: 16 July 2011 14: 45 Re: hard drive space free it reduces the size of the WinSxS... for while at least.
The problem is that WinSxS was designed to growing with age ~ 20 GB is pretty typical. The real problem is suppliers sell computers that can use as much space, without a hit.
Also the effort to reconfigure of your computer, reinstall there are programs, etc. If you have save any games or specific settings for programs (e.g. addons for Firefox or chrome, Favorites), have additional steps to preserve them. This is an absolute pain might depending on how you use your computer. I would never consider reformatting from my computer for exactly that reason.
My time is worth more than that, especially when everything you restore a bit of space, which is again filled in any case.Oh right, I see. It could be too much reinstall and reconfigure. I would have to take a look and see whether it is worth. If you want secured to all what is care?I think so, but I don't want to protect ingest lose, that it takes too much time to get everything to reconfigure or something. You have not only a huge internal drive... It is easy to update enough, and can be quite cheap, this is probably the best Wahl.Ich have two internal drives on my laptop (about 160 GB as a whole, but more like 68 GB should be). I have to update not the money or buy a new laptop (provided that I mean not in a position to upgrade laptop).
